Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Hurunui Licensing Committee
Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Hurunui Licensing Committee on 10 August 1988 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Hawarden Trust Tavern, Hawarden.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday:
Opening at 4 o'clock in the afternoon and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday: Opening at 2 o'clock in the afternoon and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
The existing trading hours for Saturdays and public holidays remain the same.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Northland Licensing Committee on 17 June 1988 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Grand Hotel, Bank Street, Whangarei.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public, the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Friday and Christmas Eve (Christmas Eve not being a Saturday): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Saturday (including Christmas Eve but not including New Year's Eve): Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On any New Year's Eve: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 00:30 o'clock in the morning of New Year's Day.
(d) On every other day: Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.

to be a referee to exercise the jurisdiction of the Small Claims Tribunal for a term of 3 years on and from 6 November 1988.

Pursuant to section 4 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the recommendation of the Minister of Employment made after consultation with the unions, associations, and organisations referred to in section 5 of that Act, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order:

Title—This order may be cited as the Rehabilitation League NZ (Inc) Lower Hutt Branch Order 1988.

Exemption—The Rehabilitation League NZ (Inc) Lower Hutt Branch an organisation approved* under its former name of the Disabled Re-establishment League, Lower Hutt Branch by the Minister of Labour under section 3 of the Disabled Persons Employment Promotion Act 1960, is hereby granted exemption in respect of its sheltered workshop at 111–113 Nelson Street, Lower Hutt from:
(a) All the provisions of every award and agreement that would otherwise apply to persons employed in the workshop;
(b) The Holidays Act 1981, the Minimum Wage Act 1945, and sections 10 (2) (b) and 15 of the Factories and Commercial Premises Act 1981 and section 194 of the Labour Relations Act 1987.
