The Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 2. 1987

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 2, 1987.

The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.

The Traffic (Franklin County) Notice No. 1, 1971, dated the 26th day of January 1971*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956 is revoked.

1. This notice may be cited as the Road Classification (Waitotara County) Notice No. 1, 1987.

2. The Waitotara County Council's proposed classification of the roads as set out in the Schedule is approved.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975

PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietors of the following school:

St Matthew's School, Marton.

The said supplementary integration agreement came into effect on 22 April 1987. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at regional offices.

Commerce Act 1986: Merger or Takeover Proposal

NOTICE is hereby given of the following determination by the Commerce Commission pursuant to section 66 (6) of the Commerce Act 1986.

On 6 May 1987 the Commerce Commission determined to give clearance to a proposal that Weddel Crown Corporation Ltd. acquires all the fixed assets and land of the meat export works at Whakatane owned by Hawkes Bay Farmers' Meat Company Ltd.
