PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired for soil conservation and river control purposes
and shall vest in The Hawke’s Bay Catchment Board on the 30th
day of April 1987.

PURSUANT to section 7 (3) of the Dangerous Goods Act 1974, I
hereby declare that the Woodville Borough Council ceased to be
a licensing authority for the purposes of the Dangerous Goods Act
1974 on the 31st day of March 1987.

PURSUANT to section 51 of the Education Act 1964, the Minister
of Education gives the following notice.

NOTICE
- (1) This notice may be cited as the Avondale College Board of
Governors Notice 1976, Amendment No. 1 and shall be read
together with and deemed part of the Avondale College Board of
Governors Notice 1976* (hereinafter referred to as the principal
notice).
(2) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication
in the Gazette.
- Clause 2 of the principal notice is hereby amended by deleting
paragraphs (c), (d) and (e) and substituting:
“(c) Seven members elected by the parents of the pupils attending
the school;
(d) Two members co-opted by the Board of Governors itself, if
and when it thinks fit.”

Amendment to Guide to Import Licence Tendering, 7 November
1986
PURSUANT to the regulation 9A (5) of the Import Control Regulations
1973 (as inserted by the Import Control Regulations 1973,
Amendment No. 3), the Minister of Trade and Industry hereby
makes the following amendments to the ‘Guide to Import Licence
Tendering, 7 November 1986’ (“the Guide”) published in the New
Zealand Gazette, 6 November 1986, No. 176, page 4690. These
amendments apply to Round 46 and all subsequent Tender Rounds.

Paragraph 7 of the Guide is hereby deleted.

Paragraph 9 of the Guide is hereby deleted and replaced with
the following paragraph:
‘9. Calls for Tenders are published in the New Zealand Gazette
which may be obtained from Government bookshops.
Subscriptions for Tender documents are available from the
Government Printing Office, Subscription Section, Private
Bag, Wellington.’
- Paragraph 17 of the Guide is hereby deleted and replaced with
the following paragraph:
‘17. Tenders may be submitted through the bureaufax system
of the Department of Trade and Industry provided they are
received by the department prior to the closing time for
tenders specified in the relevant call for Tender. No tenders
received after the specified time and date or which become
illegible in the course of transmission will be accepted.’
- Sub-paragraph (j) of paragraph 21 is hereby deleted.
