Transport Act 1962

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 3, 1987

Pursuant to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

Notice

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Waimea County) Notice No. 3, 1987.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The Traffic (Waimea County) Notice 1977, dated the 27th day of September 1977*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.

Schedule

Situated within Waimea County at Murchison:

No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim to Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth): from a point 230 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said State Highway from Fairfax Street to a point 40 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said State Highway from Grey Street.

  • Brunner Street.
  • Cromwell Street.
  • Fairfax Street: from No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim to Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth) to a point 800 metres measured southerly, generally, along the said street from No. 6 State Highway (Blenheim to Invercargill via Nelson and Greymouth).
  • George Street.
  • Hampden Street.
  • Hotham Street: from a point 80 metres measured westerly, generally, along the said street from Fairfax Street to a point 150 metres measured easterly, generally, along the said street from Fairfax Street.
  • Milton Street.

Local Authorities Loans Act 1956

Auckland Regional Authority Special Order

That the Auckland Regional Authority in exercise of the powers vested in it by the Auckland Regional Authority Act 1963, section 32 and in pursuance of the Authority conferred upon it under the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956 and in exercise of all other powers enabling it on that behalf doth hereby resolve by special resolution intended to operate as a special order to borrow the sum of five million dollars ($5,000,000.00) as a special loan to be known as Regional Road I8thmus Sector Loan No. 1, 1987, $5,000,000 for the purpose of purchasing property for regional roading.

The foregoing special order was passed at an ordinary meeting of the Auckland Regional Authority held on 19 October 1987 and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the said Authority held on 16 November 1987 having meantime been advertised in the Auckland Star on the 2 November 1987 and 9 November 1987.

The Common Seal of the Auckland Regional Authority was hereto affixed in the presence of the Chairman and Secretary.
