To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Order for Variation of Hours
Pursuant to section 221A, Sale of Liquor Act 1962, Southern Cross Hotel Ltd. is hereby authorised to vary the hours of trading to allow the public bar of the Southern Cross Hotel premises to close not later than 11 o’clock in the evening on Friday and Saturday of each week and on Christmas Eve and for the closing of the premises after the usual hour of closing on New Year’s Eve but not later than 0.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

Title and commencement—This notice may be cited as the Electrical and Electronics Industry Training Board Notice 1981, Amendment No. 2 and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Electrical and Electronics Industry Training Board Notice 1981 (hereinafter referred to as the principal notice.)

Clause 2 amended—Clause 2 of the principal notice is hereby amended by deleting clause 2, paragraph (1) (c) and by amending clause 2, paragraph (1) (a) to read “One member appointed by the Electronic and Appliance Servicing Federation of New Zealand (Inc.).”

Pursuant to regulation 9A (2)(a) of the Import Control Regulations 1973 (as inserted by regulation 2 of the Import Control Regulations 1973, Amendment No. 6), I, Peter Edward Donovan, Deputy Secretary, Department of Trade and Industry, acting under delegated authority, hereby give notice that the notice on pages 5297 to 5300 of the Gazette of 24 November 1987, No. 206, calling for tenders for Round 57 of the import licence tender scheme is amended by omitting so much of the notice as relates to tender No. 6179 and substituting the following item:

EXPLANATORY NOTE—The purpose of this notice is to correct an error in the Gazette notice of 24 November 1987, No. 206, calling for tenders for Round 57 of the import licence tender scheme. The effect of the amendment is to omit tender No. 6179, which appeared in the original notice with an incorrect item code reference, and substitute a new tender No. 6179 with the correct item code, namely 39.200.
Bids for Round 57 close at 5 p.m. on 14 December 1987. Bids which might have already been lodged for the incorrect tender No. may be withdrawn and substitute bids lodged.
