Wine Makers Levy Act 1976

Annual Levy Prescribed Under the Wine Makers Levy Act 1976 (Notice No. 4253; Ag. 4/54/21)

Pursuant to section 4 (1) of the Wine Makers Levy Act 1976 and on the recommendation of the Wine Institute of New Zealand Incorporated, I hereby prescribe a levy of 82.3c per hecto litre on the grape wine sold by every holder of a grape wine licence during the period 1 October 1986 to 30 June 1987.

Customs Act 1966

Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 25) 1987

Pursuant to section 143 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the following notice.

Notice

  1. Exchange rates—Where under any provisions of the Customs Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an amount in New Zealand currency, the amount to be so taken into account shall be the equivalent in New Zealand currency of that amount ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out in the Schedule to this notice.

  2. Revocation—The Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 24) 1987, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 196, dated the 12th day of November 1987, on page 5073 is hereby revoked.
