Commander Brian John Mahoney, M.B.E., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 24 October 1987.

Commander David Lindsay Douglas is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 9 October 1989, with effect from 10 October 1987.

Commander (acting Captain) D. N. Wood relinquishes the acting rank of Captain with effect from 8 September 1987.

Lieutenant Commander Leonard Anthony Mangos, M.B.E., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 2 September 1987.

Lieutenant Commander Theodore Eric Salt, B.A., DIP. TCHG., is placed on the Retired List of the RNZN with effect from 28 October 1987.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander D. B. Herlihy is extended until 22 October 1993.

The appointment of Lieutenant Commander N. T. Byrne, M.B.E., is extended until 24 April 1992.

Lieutenant Commander Adrian Grey Tunnicliffe, A.F.C., is placed on the Emergency List of Officers of the Naval Reserves until 25 September 1989, with effect from 26 September 1987.
