Pursuant to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5417/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 5417:1986 Specification for transportation labels for hazardous substances. Gratis

This amendment will incorporate an optional second colour (black) used on blue, red and green base colour labels and add two new labels: HAZARDOUS label for use on vehicles carrying mixed loads of hazardous substances and a class 9 label for substances of miscellaneous hazard.

All persons who may be affected by this publication and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 181–187 Victoria Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.

The closing date for receipt of comment is 26 February 1988.
