Notice is hereby given that a petition for the winding up of the above-named company by the High Court was, on the 14th day of October 1987, presented to the said Court by John Edmond Limited, a duly incorporated company having its registered office at Dunedin and carrying on business there and elsewhere in New Zealand as a hardware merchant; and that the said petition is directed to be heard before the Court sitting at Dunedin on the 19th day of November 1987 at 10 o’clock in the forenoon; and any creditor or contributory of the said company desirous to support or oppose the making of an order on the said petition may appear at the time of hearing in person or by his counsel for that purpose; and a copy of the petition will be furnished by the undersigned to any creditor or contributory of the said company requiring a copy on payment of the regulated charge for the same.

Notice of General Meeting to Alter Memorandum of Association

Pursuant to Section 18 (5) of the Companies Act 1955

Notice is hereby given that it is proposed to hold an annual general meeting of the members of Akron Corporation Ltd. at the Hunterville Room, Second Floor, Official Stand, Auckland Racing Club Inc., Ellerslie Racecourse, Auckland on Thursday, the 3rd day of December 1987 at 4 p.m. at which the following special resolution will be proposed:

“That the memorandum of association of the company be altered by omitting clause 2 thereof and consequentially renumbering clauses 3, 4 and 5 thereof and that the company shall henceforth have the rights, powers and privileges of a natural person including (without limiting the generality of the foregoing) the powers referred to in subsections (a) to (h) of section 15A (a) of the Companies Act 1955.”

Notice of Appointment of Receivers

Pursuant to Section 346 (1)

The Bank of New Zealand with reference to Petone Indoor Sports Centre Ltd. hereby gives notice that on the 28th day of October 1987, the bank appointed Terence John Leamy and Richard Grant Simpson, both chartered accountants, whose offices are at the offices of Kirk Barclay, Chartered Accountants, CMC Building, 89 Courtenay Place, Wellington, jointly and severally as receivers of the property of this company under the powers contained in an instrument dated the 18th day of August 1983. The receivers have been appointed in respect of all the company’s undertaking and all its real and personal property and all its assets and effects whatsoever and wheresoever both present and future including its uncalled and unpaid capital.

Pursuant to Section 346 (1)

We Colin Douglas Berry and Lorelei Noeleen Berry hereby give notice that on the 21st day of October 1987, we appointed Clifford James Capper, chartered accountant of Stratford as receiver and manager of the property of Azapal Enterprises Ltd. under the powers contained in a debenture dated the 16th day of February 1987, which property consists of all the undertaking goodwill and assets relating to the operation of the business carried on by the said Azapal Enterprises Ltd.
