Patea District Boundary Definition Notice 1987

PURSUANT to section 48 of the Local Government Act 1974, the Secretary for Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

1. This notice may be cited as the Patea District Boundary Notice 1987.

2. The boundary of Patea District is hereby defined as set out in the Schedule hereto, that boundary having been established by the Patea Borough-Patea County-Waverley Town District Union Order 1987, which was published in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 April 1987, No. 45, page 1416, and which came into force on 1 April 1987.

SCHEDULE

Patea District

ALL that area in the Taranaki and Wellington Land Districts bounded by a line commencing on the sea coast in the middle of the Manawapou River and proceeding up the middle of that river to the middle of the Inaha Stream and the middle of the Poroporo Stream to its source in Block IX, Okaiawa Survey District; thence north-easterly along a right line to Trig.
