Authorisation of the Exchange of Public Reserve Vested in the Marlborough Catchment Board for Other Land

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Regional Manager of the Department of Conservation of the Nelson/Marlborough Region hereby authorises the exchange of that part of a River Protection Reserve described in the First Schedule hereto, which is vested in the Marlborough Catchment Board for the land, described in the Second Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—MARLBOROUGH COUNTY

4694 square metres, more or less, being Section 14, Block X, Cloudy Bay Survey District. All land in certificate of title 4B/837. As shown on S.O. Plan 6628. This land was reserved for river protection purposes by notice in New Zealand Gazette, 1925, page 169 and vested in the Wairau River Board by notice in New Zealand Gazette, 1925, page 1102 and by notice in New Zealand Gazette, 1956, page 1129, vested in the Marlborough Catchment Board.

SECOND SCHEDULE

8896 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, Deposited Plan 7054, Block X, Cloudy Bay Survey District. All land certificate of title 4B/700.

Declaring Land at Mataroa to be Acquired for Railway Purposes

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares that an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.
