The Standards Act 1965—Draft New Zealand Standard Specification Available for Comment

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft New Zealand standard specification is being circulated.

Number and Title of Specification
DZ 5425 Code of practice for CNG compressor and refuelling stations.
Part 1: On site storage and location of equipment. $11.00 (incl GST).

This draft is a revision of NZS 5425:Part 1:1980. The code provides planning information, procedures, standards and guidance in the procuring of equipment, for the establishment of a CNG compressor and refuelling station. The subject matter is presented in three Parts.

Code of practice for the safe design, construction and use of motor powered pleasure boats
DZ 5829:Part 2/A Inflatable boats. Draft Amendment A to ISO 6185:1982. $7.48 (incl GST).

This draft amendment places on record the declaration of International Standard ISO 6185:1982 as a New Zealand Standard. In New Zealand ISO 6185 is being amended to exclude boats powered by sail or manual means.

Part 2:1984 Polybutylene (PB) pipe for hot and cold water applications.
Part 3:1983 Mechanical jointing fittings for use with polybutylene (PB) pipes for hot and cold water applications. Gratis.

This draft amendment places on record the declaration of Australian Standard AS 2642 as a New Zealand Standard and introduces more specific requirements for toxicity and effect on potable water.

PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendment is being circulated.

DZ 3501/A3 Draft Amendment No. 3 to NZS 3501:1976 Copper tubes for water, gas and sanitation. Gratis.

This draft amendment provides for tubes of 65 mm nominal bore and above to be supplied in the as drawn condition. Consequential amendments are made to the mechanical test requirements and the scope. Amendments arising from changes in reference documents have also been incorporated.
