Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed
Premises—Taranaki Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as
amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act
1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice
that the Taranaki Licensing Committee on 23 June 1987 made
an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the
licensed premises known as the Duke of Devon, New Plymouth.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed
premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises
shall be as follows:
(a) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the
morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning

that the Marlborough Licensing Committee on 18 June 1987 made
an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the
licensed premises known as the Criterion Hotel, Blenheim.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed
premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general
public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises
shall be as follows:

clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members
the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be
as follows:
(a) On any Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the
morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Revoking State Highway and Declaring Public Highway to be
State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the
National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the
Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State
highway described in the First Schedule hereto is revoked, and that
the public highway described in the Second Schedule hereto is
declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the
purposes of the National Roads Act.
FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that old and now replaced section of No. 2 State Highway
between R.P. 416/8.73 and R.P. 416/9.33, including the old Kai-
teratahi Bridge and its approaches, at Kaiteratahi in Waikohu
District.
SECOND SCHEDULE
No. 2 STATE HIGHWAY (KAITERATAHI, WAIKOHU DISTRICT)
ALL that section of new public highway between R.P. 416/8.73 and
416/9.33, including the new Kaiteratahi Bridge and its approaches,
at Kaitcratahi in Waikohu District.

National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the

FIRST SCHEDULE
ALL that section of No. 2 State Highway from Totara Park Road in
Upper Hutt City to the southern boundary of Upper Hutt County
with Hutt County thence to boundary between Hutt County and
Lower Hutt City on the Silverstream Bridge across the Hutt River,
and in Lower Hutt City from the boundary with Hutt County to
the north-western abutment of the Silverstream Bridge across the
Hutt River.
SECOND SCHEDULE
No. 2 STATE HIGHWAY (UPPER HUTT AND HUTT COUNTY
DISTRICT)
ALL that section of new public highway in Upper Hutt City from
Totara Park Road to Moonshine Road and thence via the
Moonshine Bridge over the Hutt River in Hutt County and the
roadway within land taken for motorway along the northern bank
of the Hutt River for a distance of 8 metres each side of the marked
centreline of that roadway through to the boundary between Hutt
County and Lower Hutt City.
