Declaring Railway Land at Lumsden Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Amendment to a Notice Establishing a Board

PURSUANT to section 34 (3A) of the Vocational Training Council Act 1982, the Minister of Employment hereby amends the Electrical and Electronics Industry Training Board Notice 1981, dated 24 November 1981 and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 3 December 1981, No. 145, page 3650 in respect of the terms and conditions of appointment of members of the Board by deleting Clause 2, paragraph (1) (h) and by amending Clause 2, paragraph (1) (f) to read “Three members appointed by the New Zealand Electrical, Electronics and Related Trades Industrial Union of Workers.”

PURSUANT to section 15 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that Air Nauru of the Republic of Nauru has applied for the renewal of its International Air Services Licence for the period 1 September 1986 to 31 August 1988, to enable it to continue operating weekly services along the routes:

Nauru—Honiarra—Vila—Auckland
Nauru—Tarawa—Niue—Auckland and
Nauru—Tarawa—Pago Pago—Rarotonga.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Services Licence

NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by Section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend the International Air Services Licence of Air Nauru, of the Republic of Nauru, by deleting all reference to the route Nauru—Tarawa—Pago Pago—Rarotonga.

This amendment will take effect on 1 September 1986.

Sale of Kaiapoi Borough Council Land

I, Richard William Prebble, Minister of Transport, having obtained the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section 143A (3) of the Harbour Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the Act the sale of the land referred to in the Schedule to this notice by the Kaiapoi Borough Council, and I specify that my approval is effective from the date of this notice.
