The area specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely
populated locality for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport
Act 1962.

The Traffic (Lake County) Notice No. 1, 1981, dated the 16th
day of December 1981*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Trans-
port Act 1962, is revoked.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within Lake County at Wanaka:

ALL the area bounded by a line commencing at a point on the
northern side of the Wanaka Mount Aspiring Road 200 metres
measured westerly generally along the said roadside from Sargood
Drive; thence easterly generally along the said roadside to a point
680 metres measured westerly generally along the said roadside from
MacDougall Street; thence south-easterly generally by a right line
to a point on the western side of Stone Street opposite the western
end of Kennedy Crescent, thence southerly and easterly generally
along the western and southern sides of Stone Street to its intersection
with the western side of the No. 89 State highway (Queenstown-
Wanaka); thence northerly and north-westerly generally along the
said side of the said State highway to a point 80 metres measured
south-easterly generally along the said State highway from Aspiring
Terrace; thence north-easterly generally, by a right line to a point
on the south-eastern side of the No. 89 State Highway (Queenstown-
Wanaka) 320 metres measured north-easterly generally along the
said State highway from Ballantynes Road; thence across the No. 89
State Highway (Queenstown-Wanaka) by a right line from its south-
eastern to its northern side; thence north-easterly generally along
the northern side of the said State highway to the eastern side of
Anderson Road; thence northerly generally along the eastern side
of Anderson Road to a point 650 metres measured northerly
generally along the said road from Aubrey Road at its intersection
with the eastern side of Rata Street; thence northerly generally along
the said side of Rata Street to its northern end; thence westerly
generally by a right line to a point on the western side of Beacon
Point Road 400 metres measured northerly generally along the said
roadside from Hunter Crescent; thence due west by a right line to
the eastern shore of Lake Wanaka; thence southerly and westerly
generally along the said shoreline to a point due north of the
commencing point; thence due south by a right line to the
commencing point.

Notice of Approval of Reflectorised Materials for Use on Traffic
Signs and Delineators

NOTICE

PURSUANT to regulation 130 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976*,
and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for
Transport, J. Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby
approve reflective materials of the make and type described in the
Schedule hereto, to be used for reflectorised signs and delineators.

The notice dated the 27th day of September 1985 and published
in the New Zealand Gazette, 3 October 1985, No. 185, page 4331
issued pursuant to regulation 130 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976,
is hereby revoked.

Engineering Grade Scotchlite.
High Intensity Scotchlite (white, green or red coloured only).
Unitika Sparklite.
Nichibanlite.
Engineering Grade Seibulite.
Engineering Grade Toshibalite (red, green and snow white for use

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal—Waipa County
Council—Pukerimu Rural Water Supply Loan Poll

PURSUANT to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956,
notice is hereby given that a poll of the ratepayers of the Pukerimu
Rural Water Supply Area taken on the 1st day of May 1986 on the
proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of
$2,500,000 to be known as the Pukerimu Rural Water Supply Loan
1986 for the purpose of Constructing a Piped Rural Water Supply
resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 174.
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 126.
The number of informal votes was 1.

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

I, Derek Ernest Homewood, Secretary for Transport, pursuant to
sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, and in exercise of
powers delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry
of Transport Act 1968, hereby approve the Rodney County
Bylaw No. 2, 1986 made by special order and passed at an ordinary
meeting of the council held on 19 December 1985.

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE is hereby given of Decision No. 163 of the Commerce
Commission dated 8 May 1986. By this decision the Commission
determined to consent to the proposal whereby New Zealand Dairy
Board might acquire up to 100 percent of the issued share capital
of Animal Enterprises Limited.

The Commission will issue a further decision with its reasons in
the near future.
