frequency of the services on the route over which the licence is granted. Any proposed alteration shall be notified in writing to the Licensing Authority and the licensee shall give public notice of the alteration at least once in a newspaper circulating in the area not less than 21 days before the proposed alteration comes into effect. Such advertisement must state that objection to the alteration may be lodged with the Licensing Authority and an office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation within 14 days after the public notification of the proposed alteration by any 25 or more adult residents of the locality affected by the alteration, or any other person affected by the alteration, being a holder of a transport licence, a local authority or an incorporated body whose members have a special interest in the type of transport to which the service belongs. Where any objection to the proposed alterations is lodged the notification to the Licensing Authority by the licensee shall be deemed to be an application for amendment to the licence and dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the Transport Act 1962.

National Roads Board—Revokes Declaration of Old State Highway No. 2 and Declaring New State Highway No. 2
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule below is revoked, and the new route described in the Second Schedule below is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purpose of the National Roads Act 1953.
FIRST SCHEDULE
That section of No. 2 State Highway from route position 721/3.02 to route position 731/7.42 known locally as “Sanatorium Hill”.
SECOND SCHEDULE
From south of Waipukurau town, following the Tuki Tuki River around the north side of Sanatorium Hill, between RP 721/3.02 and RP 721/7.42 to be known locally as “Pukeora Scenic Drive”.
