Classification of Reserve and Declaration that the Reserve be Part of the Mount Stokes Scenic Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares the said reserve to form part of the Mount Stokes Scenic Reserve to be administered by the Marlborough Sounds Maritime Park Board.

Cancellation of the Vesting in the Marlborough County Council and Change of Classification of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby cancels the vesting in the Marlborough County Council and changes the classification of the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, from a local purpose (water supply) reserve to a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19 (1) (b) of the Reserves Act 1977 subject to the provisions of the said Act.

Revocation of the Reservation over a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Deputy Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a reserve for a Post Office site over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

688 square metres, more or less, being Lot 17, D.P. 5712 situated in Block V, Paekakariki Survey District. Reserved for Post Office purposes by Section 17 of the Land Laws Amendment Act 1920.

Notice of Intention to Take Land for Railway Purposes at Caroline

Pursuant to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Railways hereby gives notice that it is proposed under the provisions of the Public Works Act 1981, to execute a certain public work, namely, to take the portions of land described in the Schedule hereto, for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes in connection with the Kingston Branch Railway.

Notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land to be taken is deposited in the office of the New Zealand Railways Corporation at Wellington and is there open for inspection and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work, should if they have any objection to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing and send the written objection within 40 days of the first publication of the notice to the Registrar, Planning Tribunal, Tribunals Division, Justice Department, Private Bag, Postal Centre, Wellington, and that, if any objection is made in accordance with this notice, a public hearing will be held, unless the objector otherwise requires, and each objector will be advised of the time and place of the hearing.

Declaring Two Orders in Council Reserving Lands for Railways and Stations and a Proclamation Vesting the Mokihinui Railway in the Queen to be Revoked

Pursuant to sections 10 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 54 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation, with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby revokes the two Orders in Council and the Proclamation described in the Schedule hereto.
