HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 63B (2) of the Forest Act 1949, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the area of State forest land described in the Schedule hereto, having been set apart as part of the Mount Richmond State Forest Park by a Proclamation dated the 2nd day of August 1983 and published in the New Zealand Gazette, 11 August 1983, page 2578, hereby ceases to be part of the Mount Richmond State Forest Park, as from the date of publication hereof.

NELSON LAND DISTRICT—WAIMEA COUNTY
14.8922 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 12207, Block XIV, Waimea Survey District and Lot 2, D.P. 12207, Block I, Rintoul Survey District. Part New Zealand Gazette, 1983, pages 1376 and 2578.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to sections 23 and 27 of the Agricultural Pests Destruction Act 1967, His Excellency the Governor-General acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council and upon the recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture hereby makes the following Order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the MacKenzie Basin Pest Destruction Constitution Order 1986.

This Order shall come into force on the day after the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The MacKenzie Pest Destruction District Constituted by Order in Council on the 23rd day of March 1949, the Tekapo Pest Destruction District as constituted by Order-in-Council on the 22nd day of April 1936 as amended by Order-in-Council on the 27th day of April 1960 and the Pukaki Pest Destruction District as constituted by Order-in-Council on the 30th day of March 1949 as amended by Order-in-Council on the 14th day of January 1959 and on the 27th day of April 1960 are hereby declared to be united to form the MacKenzie Basin Pest Destruction District.

The MacKenzie Pest Destruction District, the Tekapo Pest Destruction District and the Pukaki Pest Destruction District are hereby declared abolished.

Any real or personal property of the dissolved Boards of the MacKenzie Pest Destruction District, the Tekapo Pest Destruction District and the Pukaki Pest Destruction District remaining after payment of the debts and liabilities of those Boards is hereby vested in the Board of the MacKenzie Basin Pest Destruction District.

The boundaries of the MacKenzie Basin Pest Destruction District shall be those specified in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
MACKENZIE BASIN PEST DESTRUCTION DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Canterbury and Otago Land Districts, Counties of Mackenzie, Waimate and Waitaki, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Lake Benmore on the common junction between, Waitaki, Waimate and Mackenzie Counties, situated in Block V, Hewlings Survey District and proceeding generally north-westerly along the western boundary of the Mackenzie County to the southern outlet of Lake Ohau, thence generally northerly to and along the eastern shore of that lake to the middle of the Hopkins River; thence generally north-westerly up the middle of the Hopkins River to the middle of Temple Stream; thence generally westerly up the middle of Temple Stream, the south branch of that stream and along the southern boundary of Section 3, Block XIII, Hopkins Survey District to Mount Maitland; thence generally northerly along the Barrier Range to Mount Strauchon on the Main Divide; thence generally north-easterly along the Main Divide to McClure Peak; thence generally southerly along the summit of the Two Thumb Range, to and along the eastern boundary of part Run 77A, Block VIII, Godley Survey District and again along the summit of the Two Thumb Range to Tekapo Saddle, situated in Block XII, Tekapo Survey District; thence generally south-easterly to and along the middle of Firewood Stream to its confluence with the Opihi River; thence generally southerly to and along the watershed passing through Rural Section 36085 and Run 295, along the eastern boundary of the aforesaid Run, south of Trig. W, passing through Run 322, to and along the eastern boundaries of Rural Sections 36464 and 36465, to and along the middle of a road forming part of the western boundary of Run 309, Block IX, Tengawai Survey District, to a point due west of the north-western corner of Run 306; thence south-westerly along a right line through Run 291 to a point on the north-eastern boundary of part Rural Section 41352, distant 797.6 metres from the north-eastern corner of that section; thence westerly along a right line, bearing 254° 44′ through the said part Rural Section 41352 to the middle of the Tengawai River; thence northerly and generally westerly up the middle of that river and Hayter Stream to its confluence with Dalgety Stream; thence westerly up the middle of that stream to the western boundary of Block XII, Mackenzie Survey District; thence southerly along that block line to the middle of Hakataramea Pass Road, thence south-westerly along the middle of that road and along the forming part of the north-western boundary of part Lot 1 D.P. 7997-8001 certificate of title 517/287, situated in Block XV, Mackenzie Survey District, to the northern boundary of Rural Section 41195; thence westerly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Run 252; thence generally south-westerly along the south-eastern boundaries of that run to the eastern boundary of part Run 329; thence generally southerly along that boundary and its production, to and along the eastern boundary of Rural Section 41303, again along the eastern boundary of part Run 329 and the eastern boundaries of Rural Section 41302, part Run 329, Run 329A, Run 328A and Run 328, and that boundary produced to the point of commencement.
