Classification of Reserve and Vesting in the Masterton County Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation reserve, and vests the said reserve in The Masterton County Council in trust for that purpose.

Declaring Railway Land at Waiotira Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

PURSUANT to section 7 of the International Air Service Licensing Act 1947, notice is hereby given that South Pacific Island Airways of Hawaii, has applied for an international air service licence to operate a scheduled air service for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between Pago Pago and Auckland. Further details of the proposal may be obtained from the Secretary for Transport, Ministry of Transport, Private Bag, Wellington.

PURSUANT to section 187 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development prohibits, except with the consent of the Minister of Defence:

(1) The erection or placing or extension of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind, or

(2) The growing of any tree or shrub;

exceeding a height defined by:

(a) An approach and take-off climb surface originating from a line 18.73 metres above mean sea level (as determined by the Surveyor General) between co-ordinates 704510.12 N, 286657.81 E and 704038.92 N, 287042.57 E, then rising normal to that line at gradient of 1:50 to a line between co-ordinates 705091.73 N, 287185.81 E and 7044439.98 N, 287718.01 E; or
