Amending a Notice Declaring an Easement Acquired for Post Office Purposes (Transformer Site) in the Borough of Winton

Pursuant to section 55 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development hereby amends the declaration dated the 3rd day of September 1986 published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 141 at page 3822, declaring an easement acquired for post office purposes (transformer site) in the Borough of Winton, by deleting the words “post office purposes” and substituting the words “the transmission of electricity” where they appear in the heading and the fourth line of the declaration.

Rangiora District Council—Rangiora Borough Library Loan 1986—$300,000 Notice of Result of Poll on Loan Proposal

Pursuant to section 38 of the Local Authorities Loans Act 1956, notice is hereby given that at a poll of electors of the urban ward of the Rangiora District Council taken on the 28th day of November 1986 on the proposal of the above-named local authority to raise a loan of $300,000 to be known as the Rangiora Borough Library Loan 1986 for the purpose of erecting a new library building on a site adjacent to the north boundary of Victoria Park resulted as follows:

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 1122
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 2254
The number of informal votes was 101

I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
