Declaring Land to be Acquired for the Generation of Electricity in Blocks IX and X, Maramarua Survey District, Waikato County

Pursuant to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto, subject to easement certificate H. 343647.1, South Auckland Land Registry, is hereby acquired for the generation of electricity and shall vest in the Crown on the 11th day of December 1986.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall Be Utilised

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby revokes the reservation as a road reserve over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land may be disposed of by the Papatoetoe City Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic reserve, and further, declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as the Arapawa Island Scenic Reserve.
