Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22(1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, David Oughton, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 14 October 1986 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Waitera Resort Hotel.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being Christmas Eve or New Year’s Eve)—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday and Saturday being between 1 April and 31 October in the same year—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Friday and Saturday (not being New Year’s Eve) being between 1 November and 31 March in the following year and on Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning on New Year’s Day.

The Auckland Licensing Committee hereby revokes its order made on the 20th day of June 1970 and which was promulgated in the New Zealand Gazette of 9 July 1970, No. 40, page 1202 and hereby further orders that the hours of opening and closing of the said premises be fixed as detailed hereunder:
That on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) For the winter period being from and including the day following Easter Monday to and including the day preceding Labour Day—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
(b) For the summer period being from and including Labour Day to and including the following Easter Monday—Monday to Friday inclusive 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
