NOTICE
- Title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Customs Ports of Entry Notice 1980, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Customs Ports of Entry Notice 1980* (Hereinafter referred to as the principal notice).
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of December 1986.

PORT OF ENTRY

| Opua | All that portion of land, sea and river contained within a 1 kilometre radius of the south-east corner of Opua Wharf in position 33° 18.8' south, 174° 07.3' east. This port of entry shall be restricted to the purpose of entry and departure of yachts and pleasure craft. |

EXPLANATORY NOTE
This notice is not part of the notice, but is intended to indicate its general effect.
This notice appoints Opua as a limited port of entry for the purposes of the Customs Act 1966 as from 1 December 1986.

Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 24) 1986
PURSUANT to section 143 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the following notice.
NOTICE
- Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited as the Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 24) 1986.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 8th day of December 1986.

Exchange rates—Where under any provisions of the Customs Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an amount in New Zealand currency, the amount to be so taken into account shall be the equivalent in New Zealand currency of that amount ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out in the Schedule to this notice.

Revocation—The Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 23) 1986, published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 182, dated 13 November 1986, on page 4871 is hereby revoked.
