Four trips per day, Monday to Saturday inclusive commencing 1 December 86 to 28 February 87. The departure times from the city, Monday to Friday at 9.40 a.m. and 12.40 p.m. will not change; the arrival times at Sumner will be returned 5 minutes later to 10.20 a.m. and 1.20 p.m. On Saturdays, when the bus departs the city at 9.50 a.m. and 12.50 p.m. the arrival times will be 10.27 a.m. and 1.27 p.m. The return trips to the city will depart Sumner 5 minutes earlier, thus 12.53 p.m. and 3.25 p.m., Monday to Friday and 12.37 p.m. and 3.47 p.m. on Saturdays. The arrival times in the city will remain unchanged.

Review pursuant to section 144 of the Transport Act 1962 of taxicab services being carried on in the Christchurch Transport District for the purpose of ascertaining whether or not those services are adequate to meet the reasonable public demand; whether or not those services are being carried on in an efficient manner; and whether or not the grant of additional licences would materially affect the economic stability of other holders of taxicab service licences.
