1947 to amend Qantas Airways Limited’s International Air Services Licence to include DC8F aircraft for the carriage of cargo on the routes Sydney–Auckland and Melbourne–Auckland.

This amendment will take effect on 3 October 1986.

Notice of Intention to Amend an International Air Services Licence

NOTICE is hereby given that I intend to exercise the power conferred on me by section 14 of the International Air Services Licensing Act 1947 to amend Singapore Airlines International Air Services Licence to enable the airline to operate up to 3 weekly return services for the carriage of passengers, cargo and mail between New Zealand and Singapore, to allow it to operate to both Christchurch and Auckland and to state that the airline cannot uplift traffic in either Auckland or Christchurch for discharge in the other city.

This amendment will take effect on 6 October 1986.

The Water Recreation (Clive River) Notice No. 2 1986, Hawke’s Bay County Council

I, Beryl Ann Ranger, Senior Executive Officer (Harbours and Foreshores) of the Ministry of Transport, pursuant to regulation 20 (1) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979, that power being delegated to me pursuant to sections 8 and 9 of the Ministry of Transport Act 1968, hereby give the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (a) This notice may be cited as the Water Recreation (Clive River) Notice No. 2 1986, Hawke’s Bay County Council.

(b) This notice shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette and it shall remain in force until revoked by further notice in the Gazette.

  1. Regulations 7 (1) (a), 7 (1) (b), 7 (2), 8 (1) (a), 8 (1) (b) and 8 (2) of the Water Recreation Regulations 1979 are uplifted for the term of this notice excepting therefrom each Sunday between the hours of sunrise and 12 noon and each Monday and Wednesday between the hours 9 a.m. and 12 midnight subject to the following conditions:

(a) Notwithstanding any other provisions of this notice, no person who is permitted by any such provisions to propel or navigate a small craft at a speed through the water exceeding 5 knots shall do so in any manner that is likely to endanger or unduly annoy any person who is in, on, or using the water, or fishing or undertaking any recreational activity in the vicinity of the small craft.

(b) All persons in charge of a vessel or when water skiing shall adhere to and keep the provisions of all other Acts and Regulations not specifically exempted by this notice.

(c) Suitable notices as may be approved by the Regional Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Wellington, shall be erected at sites as deemed necessary by the Regional Secretary.

(d) The Water Recreation (Clive River) Notice 1986*, Hawke’s Bay County Council is hereby revoked.

SCHEDULE

All that area of water of the Clive River extending from the seaward side of the Clive Bridge to the sea.

Notice by Commerce Commission of Price Orders

Pursuant to section 70 of the Commerce Act 1986 and section 25 (3) of the Milk Act 1967 (as amended by section 6 of the Milk Treatment Act 1980, notice is hereby given of the Commerce Commission’s determination that the standard rates of allowances payable in respect of the treatment of milk be increased by 90 cents per litre. This will result in the following new rates:

Under 7,500 litres per day: 15.55 cents per litre
7,500 to 15,000 litres per day: 12.09 cents per litre
15,000 to 37,500 litres per day: 11.91 cents per litre
Over 37,500 litres per day: 10.70 cents per litre

The increase is effective from 1 April 1986.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road State Highway No. 1

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 21 May 1986 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1 (Awanaui-Bluff) from its junction with Church Road to its junction with the southern end of Pukete Road, Te Rapa as more particularly shown on Sheets 1 to 3 of Plan LA 22/4/2 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development, Hamilton and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road State Highway No. 2

It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 20 November 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 2 Opotiki to Waioeka Gorge Section for half its width on the eastern side commencing at the point of junction of the southern boundary of Lot 1, D.P. 6971 (C.T. 4D/1184) with the road extending northwards for 220 metres and as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 of Plan LA 31/3/2 and accompanying schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development, Gisborne and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

National Roads Board—Revokes Declaration of Old State Highway No. 2 and Declaring New State Highway No. 2

Pursuant to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board gives notice that the State highway described in the First Schedule below is revoked, and the new route described in the Second Schedule below is declared to be a State highway, within the meaning and for the purposes of the National Roads Act 1953.

FIRST SCHEDULE

That the section of No. 2 State Highway from Route Position 721/3.02 to Route Position 721/7.42 known locally as “Pukeora Scenic Road”.

SECOND SCHEDULE

From south of Waipukurau Town, following the Tuki Tuki River around the north side of Sanatorium Hill, between RP 721/3.02 and RP 721/7.42.
