Declaring Land Subject to a Height Restriction in Block II,
Turanganui Survey District, Cook County

PURSUANT to section 187 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister of Works and Development prohibits:

(1) the erection or placing or extension of any building, pole, mast, or other structure of any kind, or

(2) the growing of any tree or shrub:

exceeding a height of 6.45 metres above mean sea level as determined by the Surveyor General and shown on S.O. Plan 7818, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Gisborne, on the land described in the Schedule hereto, except with the consent of the Minister of Works and Development.

This prohibition is considered necessary for the safe or efficient functioning of a road by improving the safety factor for traffic accessing State Highway 2 from Salesyard Road at the Jolly Stockman intersection.

A copy of S.O. Plan 7818 may be inspected at the office of the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Department of Lands and Survey, Lowe Street, Gisborne between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on any day when Government offices are open to the public.
