NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1985.
The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The Traffic (Hawke’s Bay County) Notice No. 1, 1978, dated the 17th day of November 1978* issued pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976 is revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
SITUATED within Hawke’s Bay County adjacent to Hastings City:
No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno - Wellington via Gisborne): from the north-eastern boundary of Hastings City at Collinge Road to a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said highway from Kenilworth Road.
Coventry Road.
Howard Street: from a point 60 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Windsor Avenue to a point 320 metres measured south-easterly, generally, along the said street from Windsor Avenue.
Jellicoe Street.
Kenilworth Road.
Lyndhurst Road: from Pakowhai Road to a point 1300 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Pakowhai Road.
Oliphan Road.
Omahu Road: from Wilson Road to a point 250 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Wilson Road.

Ellwood Road: from the No. 2 State Highway (Pokeno-Wellington via Gisborne) to a point 480 metres measured northerly, generally, along the said road from the said highway.
Marakakaho Road: from the south-western boundary of Hastings City to a point 50 metres measured south-westerly, generally, along the said road from York Road.
Omahu Road: from a point 250 metres measured north-westerly, generally, along the said road from Wilson Road to a point 250 metres measured westerly, generally along the said road from Jarvis Road.
Pakowhai Road: from a point 50 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Williams Road to a point 420 metres measured north-easterly, generally, along the said road from Evendon Road.

NOTICE is hereby given of Decision No. 126 of the Commerce Commission dated 15 May 1985. This decision relates to a merger or takeover proposal involving the acquisition by Fletcher Metals Limited and Fletcher Trust and Investment Limited of additional shares in Pacific Steel Limited to take its holding up to a figure not exceeding 49 percent of the capital of that company. By its decision the Commission consents to the proposal subject to the following conditions:
(i) That Fletcher Challenge Limited (whether alone or together with any of its subsidiaries) will not, directly or indirectly, have the right to appoint a majority of directors of Pacific Steel Limited.
(ii) That Fletcher Challenge Limited undertakes that, in respect of its shareholding and influence in Pacific Steel Limited, it will procure that Pacific Steel Limited will not offer or give to Fletcher Metals Limited or any subsidiary or associated company of the Fletcher Challenge Group goods or services upon terms or conditions (whether as to prices, supply or otherwise) more favourable than other customers of Pacific Steel Limited (and its subsidiary) purchasing goods of the same kind and quality in comparable quantities.
This condition is to be confirmed by resolution of the Board of Directors of Fletcher Challenge Limited and a copy of the resolution forwarded to the Commission.

NOTICE is hereby given of Decision No. 127 of the Commerce Commission dated 15th May 1985. This decision relates to a merger or takeover proposal made by Wattie Industries Limited to acquire 50 percent of the share capital in Taylor Freezer Holdings Limited. By this decision the Commission determines not to consent to this proposal.
