Fixing of Wool Board Levy 1985/86
PURSUANT to section 2, subsection 1 of the Wool Industry
Amendment Act 1983, notice is hereby given that, from and
including 1 July 1985, the rate of Wool Board levy shall be:
(a) In respect of shorn wool sold in New Zealand, 5.5 percent of
the gross proceeds from its sale:
(b) In respect of shorn wool that has been valued under section
59 (4) of the Wool Industry Act 1977, 5.5 percent of the
valuation:
(c) In respect of shorn wool sold for the first time outside New
Zealand that has not so been valued, 5.5 percent of the
amount by which the gross proceeds from its sale exceed
the costs of its freight, marine insurance, and associated
costs (other than costs of selling) to f.o.b:
(d) In respect of slipe wool and fellmongered wool, an amount
per kilogram equal to 5.4 percent of the average price per
kilogram paid for greasy wool sold at all approved auctions
during the calendar month 2 months prior to the month
in which the levy became payable or, if there were no
approved auctions during that month, during the last
calendar month before it in which there was an approved
auction.
Paragraphs (a) to (c) above shall apply to wool on the skin as if
every reference in those paragraphs—
(a) To shorn wool were a reference to wool on the skin; and
(b) To 5.5 percent were a reference to 2.25 percent.

Transport Licensing Authority Sittings
PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, the Auckland Transport
Licensing Authority, the No. 2 Transport District Licensing
Authority and Harbour Ferry Licensing Authority (J. M. Foster),
gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will
hold a public sitting in the Conference Room, Ninth Floor,
Customhouse, Quay Street, Auckland, at the time and date stated
to hear evidence for or against granting them.
Tuesday, 11 June 1985 at 10 a.m.
G2/375 R. J. Doughty Limited: Amend Goods Transport Service
Licence No. 15121 by the addition of 7 trailers with exemption from
section 109 (1) of the Transport Act 1962 for the carriage of wet
grain with a moisture content of not less than 80 percent direct ex
harvest from the No. 3, 4, and 5A Goods Service Districts to the
premises of New Zealand Starch Products, Onehunga, during the
period 1 March to 31 August annually.

Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 6) 1985
PURSUANT to section 143 of the Customs Act 1966, the Comptroller
of Customs, in accordance with the power delegated to him by the
Minister of Customs under section 9 of that Act, hereby gives the
following notice.
NOTICE
1. Short title and commencement—(1) This notice may be cited
as the Customs Exchange Rates Notice (No. 6) 1985.
(2) This notice shall come into force on the 1st day of June 1985.
2. Exchange rates—Where under any provisions of the Customs
Act 1966 any amount which is required to be taken into account
for the purpose of assessing duty or any other purpose is not an
amount in New Zealand currency, the amount to be so taken into
account shall be the equivalent in New Zealand currency of that
amount ascertained in accordance with the rate of exchange set out
in the Schedule to this notice.
3. Revocation—The Customs Exchange Rate Notice published in
the New Zealand Gazette, No. 73, dated 26 April 1985, on page
1743 is hereby revoked.

Declaration of Vehicle with Motorcycle Controls to be a Motorcycle
PURSUANT to section 2 (1) of the Transport Act 1962, the Secretary
for Transport hereby declares that the vehicle described in the
Schedule attached hereto is a motorcycle for the purposes of the
said Act.
SCHEDULE
THE particular Honda vehicle of model ATC 250 ESF which has
engine number 5029889 and chassis number 0021383, and which
was supplied as a new vehicle by Des Eades Motorcycles Ltd. of
Wanganui to James Patrick Farr of Waverley in 1984.
