143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to
section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the said Act the
sale of land referred to in the Schedule hereto by the Bay of Plenty
Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of the said Act, and I
specify that my approval hereunder is effective from the date hereof.
SCHEDULE
All that land in the land registration district of South Auckland
being Sections 27 and 28, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District,
containing 1520 square metres, more or less, and comprising all of
the land described in certificate of title 26B/523.

The Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice No. 1, 1985
Pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962, regulation
21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, a delegation from the Minister
of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport,
I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, hereby give the
following notice:
NOTICE
This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Whakatane District) Notice
No. 1, 1985.
The roads specified in the First Schedule hereto are hereby
declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of sec-
tion 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962.
The road specified in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby
declared to be a 70 kilometres an hour speed limit area pursuant
to regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
The Traffic (Whakatane County) Notice No. 1, 1974, dated the
2nd day of May 1974*, issued pursuant to section 52 of the Trans-
port Act 1962, and regulation 27A of the Traffic Regulations 1956
is hereby revoked.

The Cook County Councilβs proposed classification of the roads

Exemption of Certain Motor Vehicles from the Height for Front Direction Indicators and Forward-facing Side Lamps
NOTICE
Pursuant to regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976* the
motor vehicles specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby exempt
from the requirements of subclause 3 (a) of regulation 59 and sub-
clause 2 (a) of regulation 63 of the said regulations, in respect of
the maximum height of 1.5 metres that the forward-facing side lamp
and front direction indicator may be mounted above the ground.
SCHEDULE
ANY ISUZU model FTS, FVR, FTR or FSR series truck, whenever
first registered.
Pursuant to powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Trans-
port by an instrument of delegation dated the 24th day of August
1984.
