Price Order No. CC. 85/1—(Milk Treatment Allowances)

THE Commerce Commission does hereby make the following order
in accordance with the provisions of section 101 (4) of the Commerce
Act 1975.

  1. (1) This order may be cited as Price Order No. CC. 85/1.
    (2) Price Order Number 293*, issued by the Secretary of Trade
    and Industry, is hereby amended as resolved by the Commission
    in Decision No. 117, dated 14 March 1985.

  2. In this order, unless the context otherwise requires:

“The Act” means the Milk Act 1967:
“Milk” has the same meaning as in the Act but does not include
cream or goats’ milk:
“Milk district” means a milk district constituted and declared
as a milk district under the Act:
“Standard rates” means the standard rates of margins and
allowances payable in respect of the treatment of town milk
specified in the Schedule hereto:
“Treatment” has the same meaning as in the Act, but does not
include refrigeration in a storage depot elsewhere than at the
treatment station or the service of homogenisation by a
treatment station:
“Treatment station” means any plant or premises for the
treatment of milk operated pursuant to the Act.

  1. This price order applies to all milk sold for human consumption
    in any milk district after the coming into force of this price order.

  2. The standard rates specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    fixed with effect from and including the 1st day of March 1984.

SCHEDULE
STANDARD RATES OF MARGINS AND ALLOWANCES PAYABLE FOR
SERVICES PERFORMED IN RESPECT OF TOWN MILK

    quantity treated is:
    (1) 11 500 litres or over per day 9.13
    (2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres
    per day 9.19
    (3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 10.40

  2. Homogenisation by treatment station, if the
    aggregate quantity homogenised is:
    (1) 4 500 litres or over per day 1.05
    (2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4,500 litres per day 1.40
    (3) Less than 2 250 litres per day 1.80

  3. Diverting to town milk industry by treatment station of
    skim milk if the aggregate quantity diverted is:
    (1) 4 500 litres or over per day 0.63
    (2) 2 250 litres or over but less than 4,500 litres per day 0.79
    (3) Less than 2,250 litres per day 0.98

  4. Storing by refrigeration in vendor’s depot 1.48

  5. Storing by refrigeration in community depot

  6. Treatment by treatment station if such milk is not
    stored by refrigeration in the treatment station
    pending delivery but is stored elsewhere, and if
    the aggregate quantity treated is:
    (1) 11 500 litres or over per day 9.02
    (2) 4 500 litres or over but less than 11 500 litres
    per day 9.08
    (3) Less than 4 500 litres per day 10.29

THE Commerce Commission does hereby make the following order
in accordance with the provisions of section 101 (4) of the Commerce
Act 1975.

  1. (1) This order may be cited as Price Order No. CC. 85/2.
    (2) Price Order Number 294*, issued by the Secretary of Trade
    and Industry, is hereby amended as resolved by the Commission
    in Decision No. 117, dated 14 March 1985.

  2. In this order, unless the context otherwise requires:

“The Act” means the Milk Act 1967:
“Cream” has the same meaning as in the Food and Drug
Regulations 1973:
“Standard rates” means the standard rates of margins and
allowances payable in respect of the treatment of cream
specified in the Schedule hereto:
“Treatment” means the pasteurisation and bottling of cream.
“Treatment station” means any plant or premises for the
treatment of cream operated pursuant to the Act.

  1. This price order applies to all cream sold anywhere in New
    Zealand after the coming into force of this price order.

  2. The standard rates specified in the Schedule hereto are hereby
    fixed, with effect from and including the 1st day of March 1984.

The Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980,
Amendment No. 21 (No. 3481; Ag. 4/51/12)

PURSUANT to section 25 (2) of the Milk Act 1967, the Minister of
Agriculture hereby gives the following notice.

NOTICE

  1. (1) This notice may be cited as the Milk Producer Prices and
    Allowances Notice 1980, Amendment No. 21.
    (2) This notice shall be deemed to have come into force on the
    9th day of November 1984.

  2. The First Schedule to the Milk Producer Prices and Allowances
    Notice 1980 (as substituted by the Milk Producer Prices and Allow-
    ances Notice 1980, Amendment No. 20) is hereby revoked and the
    Schedule to this notice is hereby substituted therefore.

  3. The Milk Producer Prices and Allowances Notice 1980,
    Amendment No. 20* is hereby consequently revoked.
