South Canterbury Acclimatisation District

(1) The property of the New Zealand Refrigerating Co. Ltd., at Smithfield, containing 24.2129 hectares, being Lot 27, on Plan 578, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Christchurch, and being all the land comprised in certificate of title, Volume 103, folio 262. Canterbury Registry, bounded on the west generally by the South Island Main Trunk Railway, and on the south by the Taitarakhi Creek.

(2) The seaward area bordering the eastern boundary of the Washdyke Wildlife Refuge extending 100 metres out to sea.

Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District

(1) That land comprising the river and floodbeds of the Haast and Landsborough river valleys, containing the pastoral run occupied by Mr M. Cron, lessee.

(2) Roy’s Bay, being that portion of Lake Wanaka lying south generally of a right line running from Eely Point to the point where the northern bank of Scar Burn joins the said lake and, in addition, a strip of land 400 metres in width around the margin of the above-defined portion of that lake, such strip of land being extended to include the whole of the township of Wanaka.

(3) Section 6, Block XXXII, Town of Arrowtown, area approximately 0.9384 hectares (S.D. Plan 14023), Otago Land District, Lake County, commonly known as Golf Links Pond.

(4) All those waters of the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu and the Kawarau River described as follows: Commencing at a white post landmark at the tip of the Kelvin Peninsula; then north-west to a further white post landmark at the tip of the Government Gardens; then northerly and easterly along the water edge of the Frankton Arm to the Kawarau River; thence down the river on the northerly shore to another white post landmark; thence directly across the river to a fourth white post landmark on the southerly shore and following this shore back to the Frankton Arm of Lake Wakatipu; thence along the easterly shore of its arm to the point of commencement.

(5) Approximately 20 hectares, Section 15, Block XVI, Tarras S.D.; being the property of Mr M. J. Cowie.

Southland Acclimatisation District

(1) All that area containing approximately 56.6561 hectares, more or less, bounded by a line commencing at the point where the production of the north boundary of Lot 44, D.P. No. 159, Block VII, Oteramika Hundred, meets the eastern side of Moore Road; thence north-easterly for 80 metres along the eastern side of Lot 46; thence easterly along that fence and that line produced, across a branch of the Waihopai River, to the eastern boundary of the said Lot 46; thence due south along the said boundary to the northern side of the Main South Railway; thence south-westerly, along the said northern side to the eastern side of Moore Road; thence northerly generally along the eastern side of Moore Road to the point of commencement; being the property of Mr C. King.

(2) All that land between the Northern Boundary of the Southland Acclimatisation District and the following described boundary.

Commencing at Mt Richmond on the northern boundary, south east to Mt. Cerebus then south to Trig 14183 (NZMSIS 141) then north east to Trig 14162 (NZMSIS 141) then north to Mt Campbell then Cold Peak, then north east to the northern boundary of the district.

(3) Lake Thomas, situated in Block VI, Mararoa S.D., and a strip of land 20 metres wide round the margin of Lake Thomas.

(4) Sections 1, 2 and 38 and part Sections 31 and 32, Block I, Sections 93, 114 and part Section 95. Block II, Section 7 and part Section 12, Block III, Longwood Survey District, containing 93.6393 hectares. Present occupier, R. C. Winter, Orepuki.

Waiataki Valley Acclimatisation District

(1) Section 1 and PR “B” Block VIII Ohau River S.D., and part Section 5, Block VIII, Ohau River S.D., Run 543, Ahuriri, Benmore, Ohau Lake, and Ohau river S.D.s in the homestead paddocks surrounding the Benmore Station Pond. Present occupier J. Sutherland.

(2) Part of Lake Aviemore, Section 2, Block IV, Gala Survey District, 80.9371 hectares, more or less. Part Proclamation 7682 (S.O. 16750).

(3) R. I. and E. M. Kingan’s farm at Windsor Park, Elderslie (Waiataki County) being Lot 3, D.P. 16336 and area of 172.2 hectares.

Wanganui Acclimatisation District

(1) That portion of the Wanganui River, including all tidal lands as defined in the Harbours Act 1950, from a line commencing at the centre of the junction of Kaimatira Road, and Riverbank Road on the left bank of the river; thence extending directly across the river to the eastern boundary of Wanganui City on the right bank of the river, to a line commencing at the mouth of the Awara Stream on the left bank of the river; thence extending directly across the river to the southern corner of Lot 3, D.P. 13660, on the right bank of the river.

Wellington Acclimatisation District

(1) Silverhope, Hunterville, being part Sections 26, 34 and 35, Paraekaretu Block, part Lot 3, D.P. 7372, certificate of titles 101/224 and 356/282, Wellington Registry, containing 101.618 hectares, more or less, being the property of Alfred Oliver Bartlett.
