Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Wellington Licensing Committee

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22(1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee on 27 November 1985 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Southern Cross Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On every Friday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

Pursuant to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22(1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 20 November 1985 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Governors Restaurant and Tavern.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) Friday, Saturday throughout the year and Thursday preceding Easter—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(b) On any Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.

(c) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s day.

Pursuant to regulation 3(1) of the Potato Cyst Nematode Regulations 1974, notice is hereby given that the following lands are declared to be infected areas:

(a) The land on which potato cyst nematode has been found:

An area of 20 acres, more or less, situated north-east of and adjoining Attewell Road and Blakes Road, Pukekohe, being Allotments 216 and 217, Suburban Section 2, Parish of Pukekohe, certificate of title 769/205 (Auckland Registry).

An area of 10 acres, more or less, situated south-east of and the adjoining Waiuku Road south of the junction with Stuarts Road, Pukekohe, being Allotment 197 of Section 2 of the Parish of Pukekohe, certificate of title 283/196 (Auckland Registry).
