Commerce Act 1975
NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 152 of the Commerce Commission dated 12 December 1985. In this decision the Commission determined to consent to the merger or takeover proposal whereby the New Zealand Dairy Board might acquire up to 40 percent of the issued shares of Auckland Co-operative Milk Producers Limited subject to the conditions.
(1) That in considering applications for export licences and when granting any such application and setting the terms of the licence to be issued, the New Zealand Dairy Board will not give preference to Auckland Co-operative Milk Producers Limited over other applicants; and
(2) That, except as may be specifically provided for by legislation, the New Zealand Dairy Board does not expand or seek to expand its involvement in the processing and distribution of fresh liquid milk beyond that resulting from this proposed acquisition of shares in Auckland Co-operative Milk Producers Limited.

PURSUANT to sections 120, 121 and 135 of the Transport Act 1962, as amended by the Transport Amendment Act No. 2, 1983, the No. 7 Transport Licensing Authority (W. M. Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Central Otago Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, and section 34b (14), I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Central Otago Licensing Committee on 11 November 1985 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Hotel Cromwell.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (not being the period between 9 December 1985 and 31 January 1986 or not being the first Monday in March or not being a public holiday)—Opening at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Friday (not being the period between 9 December 1985 and 31 January 1986 or not being a public holiday)—Opening at 4 o’clock in the afternoon and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Saturday. Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(d) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday during the period 9 December 1985 to 31 January 1986 or being the first Monday in March or being a public holiday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
(e) On any Friday during the period 9 December 1985 to 31 January 1986 or being a public holiday—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(f) On Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(g) On New Year’s Eve—Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 00.30 o’clock in the morning of New Year’s Day.

PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 (1) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, and section 34b (14), I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that E. B. Anderson, District Court Judge, on 7 November 1985 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the premises operated by the Invercargill Licensing Trust known as the North Road Friars Liquor Barrel.
To the intent that on days other than those on which premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, and Friday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 6 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On any Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 9 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.
(c) On any Saturday—Opening at 10 o’clock in the morning and closing at 8 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Chartered Club—Waikato Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to section 221A (14) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, as amended by section 22 of the Sale of Liquor Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice hereby give notice that the Waikato Licensing Committee on 20 November 1985 made an order under section 221A (19) of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, authorising the closing of the premises after the usual hours of closing for the chartered club known as Glenview Club Incorporated. To the intent that on days other than those on which chartered clubs are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to its members the hours for the closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On Christmas Eve closing at 11 o’clock in the evening.
(b) On New Year’s Eve closing at 00.30 o’clock on the morning of New Year’s Day.
