Setting Apart Maori Freehold Land as a Maori Reservation

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purpose of a place of historical and scenic interest and for the purposes of a recreational ground, sports ground, bathing place, landing place, fishing ground, burial ground, the provisions of communal agricultural and horticultural pursuits and the protection of wildlife and for preserving the relationship of the beneficiaries and their tribal culture and traditions with their ancestral lands, to be known as Waihaha Papakainga Reservation for the common use and benefit of the descendants of Papanui Tamahiki and such other persons who, at the date hereof, can show title to the lands known as Waihaha No. 3B No. 2, Waihaha No. 3C, Waihaha No. 3E No. 2 and Te Awati Waihaha, and those from time to time invited by the reservation trustees whether by specific invitation or general licence or otherwise howsoever.

ALL that piece of land situated in Blocks I and II, Karangahape Survey District and described as follows:

Notice of Approval of Bylaws

I, Richard William Prebble, Minister of Transport, pursuant to sections 8A and 165 of the Harbours Act 1950 hereby approve the Lakes District Waterways Authority (Shotover River) Bylaw (No. 1) 1985 made and confirmed by the Lakes District Waterways Authority on 26 September 1985.

Declaring Land Set Apart for Railway Purposes at Trentham

PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 52 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be set apart for and on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen for railway purposes.

Reservation of Land, Classification of a Reserve and Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration That the Said Reserve Shall be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a reserve, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares the said land to be classified as a Government purpose (wildlife management) reserve subject to the provisions of the last-mentioned Act and appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the said reserve for the same purpose subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT—WESTLAND COUNTY—PART OKARITO LAGOON WILDLIFE MANAGEMENT RESERVE

Raglan County Boundary Alteration Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 50 (2) (c) of the Local Government Act 1974, the Minister of Local Government gives the following notice:

NOTICE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Raglan County Boundary Alteration Notice 1985.

  2. This notice shall take effect on the day after publication in the Gazette.

  3. The boundaries of Raglan County are hereby altered by including within the said county, the area of land described in the Schedule hereto, being an area of land for which there are no electors.

45.6 hectares, approximately, being Takupu Island, situated in Block III, Rangitiri Survey District.
