Classification of Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby
classifies the reserve described in the Schedule hereto, as a local
purpose (soil conservation and river control) reserve subject to the
provisions of the said Act.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—MARLBOROUGH COUNTY
7638 square metres, more or less, being Section 3, Block XVI, Cloudy
Bay Survey District. Reserve for river protection purposes by part
New Zealand Gazette, 1931, page 1547. Part certificate of title

Vesting a Reserve in the Tapanui Borough Council

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands
hereby vests the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, in the
Tapanui Borough Council in trust for a recreation reserve with effect
from 14 April 1983.

CHILDRENS PLAYGROUNDS

Redefining Class of Persons for Whose Use and Benefit Maori
Reservation Made

WHEREAS pursuant to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953,
the Maori freehold land described in the Schedule hereto and
published in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 138, page 3180, dated
25 July 1985, was set aside as a Maori reservation for the purposes
of marae, wharekarakia, urupa and papakainga thereafter known
as Ngamokai Papakainga for the common use and benefit of the
descendants of Hinurewa Whakapu, Hakaraia te Tiwha, Taiwini Paamu
and Arama Tinirau.
Now therefore pursuant to section 439 (5) (d) of the Maori Affairs
Act 1953, the said class of persons for whose use and benefit the
reservation was made is hereby redefined to read:
"The descendants of Hinurewa Whakapu, Ihaka Rerekura,
Kapitorina Rerekura, Mania Te Rongonui, Hakaraia Te
Tiwha, Taiwini Paamu, Arama Tinirau and Haami Te Riaki."
