Declaring a Public Reserve Vested in the Vincent Hospital Board
to be Crown Land

PURSUANT to section 69 (4) of the Hospitals Act 1957, the Minister
of Health hereby declares that that part of the Public Hospital
Reserve described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for
hospital purposes and shall be vested in the Crown as Crown land.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT—VINCENT COUNTY
2.9750 hectares, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. 17540, Blocks LIV

Maternity Notice

PURSUANT to section 112 (4) of the Social Security Act 1964, the
Minister of Health hereby gives notice that
William Henry Rankine McIntyre, M.B., CH.B. 1951 (U EDIN), of
4 Puriri Avenue, Greenlane, Auckland
has notified the Minister that he is unwilling to afford medical
services in relation to maternity benefits, on the terms provided in
section 112 of the Social Security Act 1964, and consequently he is
entitled to recover any fees in respect of his professional services,
as if that Act had not been passed.

Fees Payable for Soil Testing Services Notice (No. 3586)

It is hereby notified for public information that on and after 1
November 1985 there shall be payable for soil testing services
provided by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries the respective
fees as set out in the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE

A. Soil testing services provided by MAF laboratories—
(i) Basic test $22.30 per sample
(ii) Other tests $6.05 each test sample
The basic test incorporates tests for acidity/alkalinity (pH), phos-
phate (P), and cations (i.e. Calcium (Ca), Magnesium (Mg), Potas-
sium (K)). All other tests are additional.
B. Samples taken by Ministry officers—
An additional charge will be made for sampling at $20 per hour
for on farm time plus 57c per kilometre from MAF base to farm
and return.

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 140 of the Commerce
Commission dated 27 September 1985.
By this decision the Commission declined to consent to a merger
or takeover proposal whereby Fletcher Metals Limited and Fletcher
Trust & Investment Co. Ltd. sought consent to acquire over 51
percent of the capital of Pacific Steel Limited.
The full text of this decision is available for inspection at the
Commission's offices, 163 The Terrace, Wellington (P.O. Box 10-

Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, acting under powers delegated
to the Secretary to the Treasury by the Minister of Finance, hereby
