PURSUANT to subsection (3) of section 23 of the Standards Act 1965, notice is hereby given that the following draft amendments are being circulated.

DZ 8401/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 8401:1974 Specification for the treatment, grading and classification of hides and calfskins. Gratis.
DZ 8404/A1 Draft Amendment No. 1 to NZS 8404:1974 Specification for the treatment, grading and classification of freezer and abattoir quality green hides. Gratis.
This amendment will alter part of the specification for precuring treatment and for the delivery and weighing of hides and calfskins. This amendment will change part of the specification for weighing and delivery of green hides and corrects typographical errors in the Foreword.
All persons who may be affected by these amendments and who desire to comment thereon may obtain copies from the Standards Association of New Zealand, Wellington Trade Centre, 15-23 Sturdee Street (or Private Bag), Wellington.
The closing date for receipt of comment is 4 January 1986.
