Integrated Primary Schools in the Diocese of Christchurch
(Attendance Dues) Notice 1985

PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives notice approving the charging of attendance dues at the following schools:

Sacred Heart School, Cobden
St John’s School, Darfield
St Joseph’s School, Fairlie
St Patrick’s School, Greymouth
St Bernadette’s School, Hornby

St Joseph’s School, Leeston
St Joseph’s School, Mairchau
Our Lady of the Snows, Methven
St Joseph’s School, Pleasant Point
St Teresa’s School, Riccarton
Our Lady of Victories, Sockburn
St Alban’s Convent School, St Albans
St Joseph’s School, Temuka
Sacred Heart School, Timaru
St Joseph’s School, Timaru North
St Patrick’s School, Waimate.

NOTICE

  1. This notice shall be cited as the Integrated Primary Schools in the Diocese of Christchurch (Attendance Dues) Notice 1985.

  2. The proprietor of the above-named schools may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above named schools requiring them to pay attendance dues.

  3. The attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $30 per term with effect from Term 3, 1985.

  4. Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvements to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated schools as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40(2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens, or other charges associated with any of the land and buildings that constitute the integrated schools.

Declaring Crown Land in the City of Nelson to be Set Apart for State Housing Purposes

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Housing Act 1955, the Minister of Lands hereby declares the Crown land, described in the Schedule hereto, to be set apart as State housing land.

Reservation of Land and Classification of a Reserve and Appointment of the Minister of Internal Affairs to Control and Manage the Reserve and Declaration that the Said Land be Subject to the Provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953

PURSUANT to section 167 of the Land Act 1948, the Minister of Lands hereby sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto,
as a reserve, and further, pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares the said land to be classified as a Government Purpose (Wildlife Refuge) reserve subject to the provisions of the last mentioned Act and appoints the Minister of Internal Affairs to control and manage the said reserve for the same purpose subject to the provisions of the Wildlife Act 1953.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto.

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve Specifying the Manner of Disposal and How Proceeds of Sale Shall Be Utilised

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, revokes the reservation as a recreation reserve over the land, described in the Schedule hereto, and further, declares that the said land be disposed of by the Kapiti Borough Council at current market value, the proceeds from any such sale to be paid into the Council’s Reserves Account, such monies to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the Council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.

Appointment of the Minister of Forests to Control and Manage a Reserve and Declaration that the Said Reserve Shall Be Subject to the Provisions of the Forests Act 1949

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, the Minister of Lands, hereby appoints the Minister of Forests to control and manage the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, subject to the provisions of the said Act, as a reserve for scientific purposes.
