Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road, State Highway No. 3
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 18 September 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 3: Waitara bypass, from the northern boundary of Section 40, Waitara East District to its intersection with Mamaku Road as more particularly shown on sheet 1 of plan LA 42/26/2 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development, New Plymouth and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Declaration as Special Purpose Road
PURSUANT to section 12A of the National Roads Act 1953 (as amended by section 3 of the National Roads Amendment Act 1980), the National Roads Board hereby determines that the carriageway of the section of public highway described in the Schedule below shall be special purpose road.
Commencing at the south abutment of the Waitangi River Bridge and proceeding in a northerly and westerly direction generally across that bridge and through the Waitangi National Trust for a distance of approximately 2.2 km to its junction with Oncwhero Road; together with those portions of side roads being the access road to the staff hostel a distance of 267 metres; the car park loop road a distance of 326 metres; and the Hobson Memorial loop road a distance of 71 metres; as the same are more particularly delineated by shading on plan 1/1035/5/3114/1 deposited in the office of the Minister of Works and Development (or National Roads Board) at Wellington.

Revoking Declaration of State Highway
PURSUANT to section 11 of the National Roads Act 1953, the National Roads Board, acting with the written approval of the Minister of Works and Development, gives notice that the State Highway described in the First Schedule below is revoked.
FIRST SCHEDULE
TE ARAROA
No. 35 State Highway: From junction of Maui Street along Pohutu Road and Rata Street to junction with Moana Parade.

LPG Fuel System Approvals
PURSUANT to regulation 90B of the Traffic Regulations 1976* (as inserted by the Traffic Regulations 1976 amendment No. 7) and pursuant to the powers delegated to me by the Secretary for Transport, I, Robert Norman Abram, Chief Automotive Engineer, hereby approve the components listed in the First Schedule hereto for inclusion only in the LPG fuel system of the two vehicles listed in the Second Schedule hereto which in all other respects are installed and operated in accordance with the requirements of New Zealand Standard NZS 5422, Part 1, 1980 (and any standard made in amendment thereto or in substitution therefor) subject to the conditions (if any) set out in respect of any component in the said schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE
LPG fuel tanks which comply with the Japanese High Pressure Gas Control Law for motor vehicles of material to Class 1 (symbol S.G. 26) of JIS G3116, with material thickness of 3.2 mm.
SECOND SCHEDULE
DETAILS of the two vehicles are as follows:
- Mazda 929 chassis HBE P-104307. Tank manufacturer KYK (Trade Mark). Dated 17 July 1984. Code VTF 4274, V94 W 35.4. Regulator Nikki 268078/961.
- Mazda 626 chassis GC8P—145690. Tank manufacturer KYK (Trade Mark). Dated 26 January 1984. Code VTD 18036, V90 W. 34.3. Regulator Nikki 268078/961.

Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand—Notice of Election
PURSUANT to the Pharmacy Act 1970, notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the North Island District to fill an extraordinary vacancy on the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand.
Nominations of candidates, on the prescribed form, close with the Registrar at 4 p.m. on 11 November 1985. Voting papers, if a poll is required, will be received by the Registrar until 4 p.m. on 2 December 1985.
The place for receiving nominations of candidates and voting papers relating to such candidates is the office of the Pharmaceutical Society of New Zealand, 124 Dixon Street, Wellington 1.

NOTICE is hereby given of Decision No. 139 of the Commerce Commission dated 25 September 1985. By this decision the Commission consented to the merger or takeover proposal whereby Canterbury Frozen Meat Co. Limited may purchase the export meat processing and marketing operations of R. & W. Hellaby Limited.
