north of Manawahe Road; thence generally north-easterly parallel
to and 1 kilometre distant from Manawahe Road and the Herepuru
Road to its intersection with the middle of the East Coast Main
Trunk Railway; thence south-easterly along the middle of that

Designation of Administrative Local Authority for Community Arts Council
Pursuant to section 36 of the Queen Elizabeth the Second Arts
Council of New Zealand Act 1974 as subsequently amended under
section 3 in 1977, I hereby designate the Kawerau Borough Council
to be the administrative local authority for the Kawerau Community
Arts Council.

Bylaw Limiting the Stopping, Standing and Parking of Vehicles on a Portion of State Highway No. 74 Near the Christchurch-Lyttelton Road Tunnel, to Heavy Motor Vehicles Only
Pursuant to the National Roads Act 1953 (section 13) to the
Transport Act 1962 (section 72 (1) (k)), the National Roads Board
hereby makes the following bylaw:
BYLAW
-
This bylaw may be cited as the National Roads Board Bylaw 1985/4.
-
This bylaw shall come into force on the day after its publication in the Gazette.
-
This bylaw shall apply to a portion of State Highway No. 74
measuring 25 metres on the southern side of Norwich Quay,
Lyttelton, which is shown hatched on plan 6/51/15/6634, sheet 1,
Revision 2, held in the District Plan Records Office in the
Ministry of Works and Development, Christchurch. -
No vehicle shall stop, stand, or park on the portion of highway
described above, except heavy motor vehicles as defined in the
Heavy Motor Vehicle Regulations 1974. -
Every person who commits an offence against this bylaw is
liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding $200 (two
hundred dollars).
This bylaw was made by resolution duly passed at a meeting of
the National Roads Board held in Wellington on the 18th day of
September 1985.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road. State Highway No. 1
It is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated
18 September 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works
Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 1: Okaihau
to Ohaeawai Section for half its width on the southern side across
the frontages of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of D.P. 93891 (C.T. 50A/857,
858, 859 and 860 respectively) as more particularly shown on sheet
1 of plan LA 11/6/1 and accompanying Schedule held in the office
of the Resident Manager, Ministry of Works and Development,
Whangarei and there available for public inspection, to be a limited
access road.
