PURSUANT to sections 120, 135 and 136 of the Transport Act 1962, as amended by the Transport Amendment Act (No. 2) 1983, the No. 9 District Transport Licensing Authority gives notice of the receipt of the following applications and will hold a public sitting in the Council Chambers, Timaru City Council, 2 King George Place, Timaru, on Wednesday, the 14th day of August 1985, commencing at 11.30 a.m. to hear evidence for or against granting them.

Declaring State Highway to be a Limited Access Road—State Highway No. 8
IT is notified that the National Roads Board, by resolution dated 19 June 1985 and pursuant to section 153 of the Public Works Act 1981, hereby declares that part of State Highway No. 8 (Timaru-Milton) from the point of junction 43 of the northern boundary of section 43 (east side of State Highway No. 8), Town of Havelock to its junction with Wearmouth Street as more particularly shown on Sheet 1 on Plan LA 70/84/93 and accompanying Schedule held in the office of the Residence Engineer, Ministry of Works and Development, Dunedin and there available for public inspection, to be a limited access road.

Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975
PURSUANT to section 10 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, notice is given that a supplementary integration agreement has been signed between the Minister of Education and the proprietor of the following school:
Waikato Diocesan School for Girls.
The said supplementary integration agreement came into effect on 1 July 1985. Copies of the supplementary integration agreement are available for inspection without charge by any member of the public at the Department of Education, Head Office, National Mutual Building, Featherston Street, Wellington, and at Northern Regional Office.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Wellington Licensing Committee
PURSUANT to sections 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22 (14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Wellington Licensing Committee on 27 June 1985 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the De Bretts Hotel.
To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:
(a) On any Monday, Tuesday and Saturday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 7 o'clock in the evening.
(b) On any Wednesday and Thursday—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 10 o'clock in the evening.
(c) On any Friday and Christmas Eve—Opening at 11 o'clock in the morning and closing at 11 o'clock in the evening.
