Declaring Railway Land at Port Chalmers and Not Now Required for That Purpose to be Crown Land
PURSUANT to sections 24 and 30 of the New Zealand Railways Corporation Act 1981 and section 42 of the Public Works Act 1981, the General Manager of the New Zealand Railways Corporation with the prior written consent of the Minister of Railways hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land, subject to the Land Act 1948.

Contingency Plans for Petrol Rationing
PURSUANT to section 269D (2) of the Local Government Act 1974 (as enacted by the Local Government Amendment Act 1983), I, Fraser McDonald Colman, acting Minister of Energy, hereby give notice:
WHEREAS by Gazette notice dated 27 September 1984 the Minister of Energy required all United Councils to prepare and submit a petroleum products rationing organisation plan under section 269D (1) by the 1st day of December 1984.
AND WHEREAS that date has been extended from time to time in respect of certain of those councils, the last such extension expiring on the 30th day of June 1985 as notified in Gazette notice dated 28 March 1985*.
I hereby further extend the time within which the following United Councils are required to prepare and submit a petroleum products rationing organisation plan from the 30th day of June 1985 to the 30th day of September 1985:
Canterbury United Council.
Coastal-North Otago United Council.
Horowhenua United Council.
Manawatu United Council.
Nelson Bays United Council.
Tongariro United Council.

St Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin (Attendance Dues) Notice 1985
PURSUANT to section 36 of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, the Minister of Education hereby gives the following notice approving the charging of attendance dues at St Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin.
NOTICE

This notice shall be cited as the St Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin (Attendance Dues) Notice 1985 and shall come into force on the date of its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

The proprietor of St Hilda's Collegiate School, Dunedin may enter into an agreement with the parents or other persons accepting responsibility for the education of a child at the above-mentioned school requiring them to pay attendance dues.

Attendance dues payable in respect of any pupil shall be $175 per term.

Attendance dues received by the proprietor shall be used for the purpose of paying for such improvement to, or for such capital works associated with, the buildings and associated facilities of the above-mentioned integrated school as may be required or approved by the Minister of Education pursuant to section 40 (2) of the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act 1975, or for meeting debts, mortgages, liens or other charges associated with any of the land or buildings that constitute the integrated school.

Aujeszky's Disease—Control of North to South Movement of Pigs
(Notice No. 3511; Ag. 6/7/9/1)
PURSUANT to section 13A of the Animals Act 1967, I hereby prohibit the movement of any live pig into the South Island from any other area of New Zealand except pursuant to a permit issued by a Veterinary Officer of the Animal Health Division of the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries.
Any Inspector may seize any animal or any descendant of any such animal that has been moved into the South Island in contravention of this restriction and shall deal with any of them that is so seized as the Chief Veterinary Officer may direct; and no compensation shall be payable in respect thereof.
All costs and expenses of and attendant upon any such seizure and dealing therewith shall be borne by the owner thereof, and shall be recoverable from him as debt due to the Crown.
This restriction is imposed to prevent the spread of Aujeszky's disease into the South Island.
