Classification and Naming of Reserve
PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified as a reserve for scenic purposes, subject to the provisions of section 19 (1) (a) of the said Act, and further declares that the said reserve shall hereafter be known as Cooper Point Scenic Reserve.

MARLBOROUGH LAND DISTRICT—MARLBOROUGH COUNTY
20 hectares, more or less, (16.1874 hectares by all Gazette notice 121372), being Section 125, Block XIX, Gore Survey District. Reserve for scenic purposes by all Gazette notice 121372 (New Zealand Gazette, 1984, page 3699). S.O. Plan 6359.

PURSUANT to section 439 of the Maori Affairs Act 1953, the general land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart as a Maori reservation for the purposes of a burial ground for the common use and benefit by members of the Ngati Kahungunu tribe.
