Land Acquired for Motorway Purposes in the City of Wellington

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired for motorway purposes and shall vest in the
Crown on the 20th day of June 1985.

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 476 square metres, situated in
the City of Wellington, being part Lot 10, D.P. 32281; as shown
marked “B” on S.O. Plan 34057 lodged in the office of the Chief
Surveyor at Wellington.

Declaration That Land is a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Commissioner of Crown Lands
hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the
Tauranga City Council on the 9th day of February 1984:

“That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14
of the Reserve Act 1977, the Tauranga City Council hereby
resolves that the piece of land held by the said city in fee
simple and, described in the Schedule hereto, shall be, and
the same is hereby, declared to be a recreation reserve within
the meaning of the said Act.”

5620 square metres, more or less, being Lots 11 to 16 and Lot 18,

Revocation of the Reservation Over a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby
revokes the reservation as a stock resting reserve over the land,
described in the Schedule hereto.

Classification and Naming of a Reserve

PURSUANT to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of Crown Lands hereby
declares the reserve, described in the Schedule hereto, to be classified
as a scenic reserve, for the purposes specified in section 19(1)(a)
of the Reserves Act 1977, subject to the provisions of the said Act
and further, declares that the scenic reserve, described in the Schedule
hereto, shall hereafter be known as the Mabel Island Scenic Reserve.

Vesting a Reserve in the Lake County Council
