The Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No. 1. 1985

PURSUANT to the Transport Act 1962, a delegation from the Minister of Transport, and a subdelegation from the Secretary for Transport, I, Carne Maurice Clissold, Chief Traffic Engineer, give the following notice:

NOTICE

This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Taumarunui County) Notice No.1, 1985.

The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.

The notice under section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, dated the 26th day of August 1965*, which relates to roads situated within Taumarunui County at National Park, is revoked.

Electrical Supply Regulations 1984

PURSUANT to regulation 24 (5) of the Electrical Supply Regulations 1984, J. Jack James Chesterman, Secretary of Energy, hereby declare that the annual interest rate to be charged by electrical supply authorities on electricity agreements for uneconomic supply repayable on deferred payment terms shall be a maximum of 16.75 per centum. This interest rate shall apply to all agreements entered into after the 1st day of May 1985.

Notice is hereby given of Decision No. 130 of the Commerce Commission dated 6 June 1985. By this decision a majority of the Commission declined to consent to the merger or takeover proposal whereby Air New Zealand Limited might acquire 77.03 percent of the issued capital of the Mount Cook Group Limited.
