Declaring a Water Supply Easement to be Acquired Over Land
for Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act
1979 in Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the water supply easement described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby acquired for coal mining
operations under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 over the land
described in the Second Schedule hereto and further declares that
the said easement shall vest in the Crown on the 18th day of April
1984.

FIRST SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Description of Easement

THE right in perpetuity to convey water by pipes along the line
defined in the Second Schedule hereto and on the terms and
conditions contained or implied in the Seventh Schedule to the
Land Transfer Act 1952, under the heading of the Right to Convey
Water together with the additional rights described therein.

SECOND SCHEDULE

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

Land Over Which Easement is Acquired

ALL that piece of land containing 1223 square metres, situated in
Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District, being part Lot 22 of Allotment
463, Parish of Taupiri; as shown marked “A” on S.O. Plan 50946,
lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Hamilton.

Land Acquired, Subject to Certain Rights and Restrictions, for
Coal Mining Operations Under Part IV of the Coal Mines Act
1979 in Block VIII, Rangiriri Survey District, Waikato County

PURSUANT to section 20 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Minister
of Works and Development declares that, an agreement to that effect
having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby acquired, subject to the mining easements created by
transfer 49495 and the drainage easement created by transfer 66696,
South Auckland Land Registry, for coal mining operations under
Part IV of the Coal Mines Act 1979 and shall vest in the Crown
on the 18th day of April 1984.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that piece of land containing 41.1110 hectares, situated in Block
VIII, Rangiriri Survey District, being part Lot 2, D.P. 12979 and
being portion of Allotments 389 and 492, Parish of Taupiri and
portion of Allotments 436A and 497, Parish of Whangamarino,
excepting thereout all mines, beds, veins and seams of coal, fireclay
and other minerals whatsoever within or under the said land.

Reservation of Land and Declaration that the Reserve be Part of
the Herekino Recreation Reserve

PURSUANT to the Land Act 1948, and to a delegation from the
Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby
sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a recreation
reserve and further pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, declares the
said reserve to form part of the Herekino Recreation Reserve to be
administered as a recreation reserve by the Mangonui County
Council.

the Waioeka Gorge Scenic Reserve

Minister of Lands, the Assistant Director-General of Lands hereby
sets apart the land, described in the Schedule hereto, as a scenic
reserve subject to section 19 (1) (a) of the Reserves Act 1977 and
further declares the said reserve to form part of the Waioeka Gorge
Scenic Reserve.

Transfer of Unformed Legal Road in Block VIII, Centre Hill
Survey District—Wallace County

———

PURSUANT to section 323 of the Local Government Act 1974, and
to a delegation from the Minister of Lands, the Commissioner of
Crown Lands hereby declares that the land, described in the Schedule
hereto, has been transferred to the Crown by the Wallace County
Council pursuant to the said section 323 and on the publication of
this notice the said land shall be deemed to be Crown land subject
to the Land Act 1948.
