Magazine Shotguns
PURSUANT to section 18(1)(c)(iii) of the Wildlife Act 1953 (as amended by the Wildlife Amendment Act 1983) the Minister of Internal Affairs approves persons to hunt or kill game within the acclimatisation districts named hereto, with any shotgun of a calibre 12 gauge or less having a magazine of any type not adjusted in accordance with regulations made under this Act, and capable of holding more than one shell, subject to the conditions specified below and for certain acclimatisation districts.

Ashburton Acclimatisation District.
Marlborough Acclimatisation District.
Nelson Acclimatisation District.
North Canterbury Acclimatisation District—applicable only for that remaining period of open season for the district, commencing on 16 July 1984.
Otago Acclimatisation District.
South Canterbury Acclimatisation District.
Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District.
West Coast Acclimatisation District.
Westland Acclimatisation District.
Camouflaged Rowboats
PURSUANT to section 18(l)(f)(vi) of the Wildlife Act 1953 (as amended by the Wildlife Amendment Act 1983) the Minister of Internal Affairs approves persons to hunt or kill game within the acclimatisation districts and open game area, named hereto, from unmoored camouflaged rowboats, subject to the conditions specified below and for certain acclimatisation districts.
Acclimatisation Districts and Open Game Area
Bay of Islands Acclimatisation District.
Firth of Thames Open Game Area.
Hobson Acclimatisation District.
Mangonui-Whangaroa Acclimatisation District.
Tauranga Acclimatisation District—applicable only to the estuarine waters of Tauranga Harbour.
Wellington Acclimatisation District—applicable only for that remaining period of open season for the district, commencing on 7 May 1984.
Whangarei Acclimatisation District.
Game Not in Flight
PURSUANT to section 22 of the Wildlife Act 1953 (as amended by the Wildlife Amendment Act 1983) the Minister of Internal Affairs approves within the acclimatisation districts named hereto, persons to shoot at, hunt or kill game of the family Anatidae (waterfowl) while not in flight, subject to the conditions specified below.

Marlborough Acclimatisation District.
Otago Acclimatisation District.
Southern Lakes Acclimatisation District.

Conditions
- These approvals shall not derogate from the principal conditions specified for each acclimatisation district under the Second Schedule which shall apply.
- These approvals will expire at the end of the open season for game specified under the Second Schedule for each acclimatisation district.
GAME AND JUNIOR GAME SEASON LICENCES AND LICENCE FEES
PURSUANT to the Wildlife Regulations 1955, Amendment No. 9, the Minister of Internal Affairs hereby prescribes the classes of licence to hunt or kill game in New Zealand for the 1984 open season for game, and approves the licence fees set and payable in respect of each class and the conditions attached thereto.
Class: New Zealand Game Season Licence
Fee: Twenty five dollars ($25.00)
Conditions: A New Zealand Game Season Licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of New Zealand. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits specified under the Second Schedule for the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.
Levies: North Island acclimatisation societies: a levy of $3.00 upon each licence issued is payable to the Council of North Island Acclimatisation Societies.
South Island acclimatisation societies: a levy of $5.00 upon each licence issued is payable to the Council of South Island Acclimatisation Societies.
Class: Junior North Island Game Season Licence
Fee: Twelve dollars fifty cents ($12.50)
Conditions: Junior North Island Game Season Licences may be issued to persons under 16 years of age as at 5th of May 1984. The licence shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game within all acclimatisation districts of the North Island except the acclimatisation districts of Hawera, Hobson and Mangonui-Whangaroa. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits specified under the Second Schedule for the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.
The provisions of the Arms Act 1958 apply with respect to firearms used in accordance with the licence.
Levy: A levy of $1.50 upon each licence issued is payable by North Island acclimatisation societies to the Council of North Island Acclimatisation Societies.
Class: Junior South Island Game Season Licence
Fee: Five dollars ($5.00)
Conditions: Junior South Island Game Season Licences may be issued to persons up to 16 years of age and shall enable the holder to hunt or kill game in all acclimatisation districts of the South Island. The holder of the licence shall be subject to the conditions and daily possession limits specified under the Second Schedule for the acclimatisation district in which the hunting or killing of game takes place.
