Confiscation of Motor Vehicle

PURSUANT to the Criminal Justice Act 1954, section 44B, Motor
Vehicle Registration No. KP 56, 1956 Chevrolet, Chassis
No. 6101960220, owned by Douglas John Richardson, 3 McKenzie
Avenue, Otorohanga was confiscated by Judge A. J. Ryan in the
District Court, Te Kuiti, on 5 July 1984, in accordance with
the above Act.

Commerce Act 1975

NOTICE is hereby given of decision No. 87 of the Commerce
Commission dated 26 July 1984. By this decision the Commission
consents to the merger or takeover proposal involving the acquisition
by Cory-Wright and Salmon Limited and the repurchase by Neil
Holdings Limited of Moffat Appliances Limited from Cory-Wright
and Salmon Limited.

Commerce Act 1975

Merchants (South Island) and various Canterbury hotels participating
in the “Red and Black Super Savers” banner buying and marketing
group.

Sale of Lyttelton Harbour Board Land

I, George Frederick Gair, Minister of Transport, having obtained
the concurrence of the Minister of Finance pursuant to section
143A (3) of the Harbours Act 1950, hereby approve pursuant to
section 143A (1) (a) and section 143C (1) (b) (i) of the said Act the
sale of the land referred to in the First, Second and Third Schedules
hereto by the Lyttelton Harbour Board pursuant to section 143C of
the said Act; and I specify that my approval hereunder is effective
from the date hereof.


FIRST SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of
Canterbury, being Lot 1 on Deposited Plan 19249, containing 731
square metres, more or less and being all of the land described in
certificate of title 12K/1454.


SECOND SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of
Canterbury, being Lot 5 on Deposited Plan 21206, containing 983
square metres, more or less and being all of the land described in
certificate of title 25F/860.


THIRD SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land in the Land Registration District of
Canterbury, being Lot 6 on Deposited Plan 21206, containing 698
square metres, more or less and being all the land described in
certificate of title 2B/830.

Licence No. 16438 by the addition of 2 motor vehicles with
exemption from section 109 of the Transport Act 1962, to carry
concrete manholes, risers, cespits and lids throughout the North
Island.

A new Goods Transport Service Licence to carry:

(a) Exempt from the provisions of section 109 of the Transport
Act 1962 throughout New Zealand for the transport of:
(i) plant and tools of trade for use in connection with
the installation or dismantling of machinery;
(ii) second hand machinery for installation or extraction
by Dales Freightways Limited;
(iii) consignments which by reason of their dimensions
are certified in writing by the New Zealand Railways
Corporation as being overgauge for transport by rail. The
certificate shall be carried with the consignment and
produced to any Ministry of Transport Traffic Officer on
demand;
(iv) electrical transformers;
(v) consignments of which a single component not readily
divisible is of a minimum lift of 30 tonnes;
