The Stratford Public Cemetery Clearance Notice 1984

PURSUANT to section 45 (1) of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, the Minister of Health hereby gives the following notice.

SCHEDULE

  1. This notice may be cited as the Stratford Public Cemetery Clearance Notice 1984.

  2. I hereby direct that notwithstanding anything in section 41 or section 42 of the Burial and Cremation Act 1964, no further burials shall take place in the Stratford Public Cemetery situated in Regan Street which was closed as from 1 July 1906 by the Stratford Public Cemetery Closing Notice dated 7 December 1905, and which is described in the Schedule to this notice.

  3. The Stratford Borough Council is hereby authorised to remove all or any of the monuments and tablets erected in that cemetery.

SCHEDULE

All that area of land in the Taranaki Land District, containing 4836 square metres, more or less, being Lot 3, D.P. 1805, being part Section 69, Block II, Ngaere Survey District.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premise—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to section 221A of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 29 June 1984 revoked the order it made on 6 June 1980 in respect of the hours of opening and closing of the D.B. Papatoetoe Hotel, Great South Road, Papatoetoe (which was notified in the New Zealand Gazette on 19 June 1980, No. 68 at page 1813) and ordered that on days other than those on which the licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor, the hours of opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.

Notice of Intention to Vary Hours of Sale of Liquor at Licensed Premises—Auckland Licensing Committee

PURSUANT to sections 221A and 221B of the Sale of Liquor Act 1962 as amended by section 22(14) of the Sale of Liquor Amendment Act 1976, I, Stanley James Callahan, Secretary for Justice, hereby give notice that the Auckland Licensing Committee on 29 June 1984 made an order authorising variations of the usual hours of trading for the licensed premises known as the Parakai Tavern, Parakai.

To the intent that on days other than those on which licensed premises are required to be closed for the sale of liquor to the general public the hours for the opening and closing of the said premises shall be as follows:

(a) On any Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, (not being Christmas Eve or New Years Eve). Opening at 11 o’clock in the morning and closing at 10 o’clock in the evening.
