The Waitakere Rural Fire District Order 1976, Amendment No. 2

At the Government House at Wellington this 16th day of July 1984
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER

This order may be cited as the Waitakere Rural Fire District Order 1976, Amendment No. 2, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the order constituting the Waitakere Rural Fire District Order made on the 8th day of November 1976* (hereinafter referred to as the principal order).

This order shall come into force from the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.

The principal order is hereby amended by revoking paragraph 5 of the preamble thereto and substituting the following paragraph hereto:
"5. A restricted or prohibited fire season shall be specified by the Waitakere Rural Fire Committee each year depending on the prevailing fire hazard conditions."

Adding Land to Arthur’s Pass National Park

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 7 of the National Parks Act 1980, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby declares that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, as from the 14th day after the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the Gazette, be a national park subject to the National Parks Act 1980 and shall be added to and form part of the Arthur’s Pass National Park.

The Silverpeaks County Council Foreshore Control Order 1984

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 165 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, hereby makes the following order.
ORDER
-
Title and commencement—(1) This order may be cited as the Silverpeaks County Council Foreshore Control Order 1984.
(2) This order shall come into force on the 1st day of July 1984. -
Interpretation—In this order—
"The Act" means the Harbours Act 1950.
"The Council" means the Silverpeaks County Council constituted under the Local Government Act 1974.
"Foreshore" means such parts of the bed, shore, or banks of a tidal water as are covered and uncovered by the flow and ebb of the tide at ordinary spring tides. -
Grant of Control—There is hereby granted to the Council for a period of 21 years from the 1st day of July 1984 and ending with the 30th day of June 2005 control of the foreshore described in the Schedule to this order.

Conditions of Grant—The grant of control conferred by clause 3 of this order is subject to the following conditions—
(a) Suitably worded signs shall be erected at main public access ways to the foreshore described in the Schedule to this order indicating that control of the foreshore has been granted to the Council pursuant to section 165 of the Act.
(b) All money received by the Council in the performance or exercise of the functions, duties or powers conferred on it by this order in respect of the foreshore, to which this order applies, shall, after the deduction of any expenditure incurred by the Council in the performance or exercise of those functions, duties or powers, be applied to the construction, repair or improvement of facilities in respect of that foreshore, and not otherwise.
SCHEDULE
ALL that area of foreshore at Brighton containing 9 acres 2 roods, more or less and situated in Block 1, Otokia District, as shown coloured yellow on plan MD 5189 and deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.

Authorising the Porirua City Council to Reclaim Part of the Bed of Porirua Harbour at Mana

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
PURSUANT to section 175 (3) and subject to sections 176 to 182 of the Harbours Act 1950, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council hereby authorises the Porirua City Council to reclaim an area of 2.1000 hectares, more or less, of Porirua Harbour Bed at Mana, as shown on plan MD 16256, deposited in the office of the Secretary for Transport at Wellington.
